Is there not a simpler option?

I'm rather surprised that the city is considering implementing such a complex double roundabout at this location. It seems like there are better alternatives available. For instance, there is plenty of vacant land that could be acquired to relocate the on and off ramps for SR410 westbound. Alternatively, a simpler option would be to utilize the dead end for 64th St E as the off-ramp for westbound 410, as the alignment there is perfect for such a purpose. Of course, this would inevitably affect the Corliss entrance, but perhaps there's a way to accommodate both?
