Upcoming Public Outreach for Environmental Documents

While the existing bridge holds back a small amount of sediment due to its pier design, the new bridge will block less sediment, resulting in quicker sediment transport downsteream over the life of the bridge. A recent project environmental report analyzes the impact of this sediment transport.

We will be initiating an official public comment period in Fall 2019 to meet requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process, but you can take a look at the documents now in the documents section of this site.
